Steam Yacht Louise

A 1902 steam yacht you can charter on Geneva Lake, still running on real steam.

Why we picked itA 1902 yacht that still runs on real steam. History you can hear.

Racine Boat Works built the 75-foot Louise in 1902 for John and Louise Mitchell. Between 1975 and 1978 she was restored around a 1926 James Plenty & Sons steam engine, and the operator says she is the only lake steam yacht still running on steam.

She takes up to 50 guests for private events across two decks, with an enclosed cabin, a wet bar and an engineer tending the boiler.
