Schooner Stephen Taber

An 1871 windjammer you live aboard for days at a time on Penobscot Bay.

The Taber is a National Historic Landmark and has sailed for more than 150 years without an inboard engine. A small yawl boat called Babe pushes when the wind won't.

Up to 22 guests sleep aboard, eat off a wood stove and drop anchor in a different cove every night.
